ABOUT VECA

Our Culture

Culture is all about how people are treated, and at VECA, we simply treat people right.

The Largest Small Family Business

We reflect attributes of a positive family experience that bring out the best in people by demonstrating respect, dignity, and unconditional support. We have a genuine desire to see each other thrive, and we help each other get there every day.

Learn. Grow. Create. Succeed.

We foster an environment of learning and growth through the VECA Academy. We offer hundreds of on-demand training resources as well as tailored programs for multiple career tracks, including project management, safety, and accounting. By empowering creativity and innovation with the right tools and support, our teams consistently develop practical and progressive solutions for our clients with certainty of safety, quality, and performance.

We Take Care of Our Team

A team is a group of people who go out of their way to make each other look good. We make sure our people are well cared for, getting joy out of their jobs, and continuing our mindset of abundance in all things.

Annual VECA Family Picnic at the Woodland Park Zoo

We create space to enjoy each other’s company throughout the year. We host summer barbeques, hold an annual company picnic at the Zoo, play in softball tournaments, get competitive with a chili cookoff, have “field days” (yes, just like in elementary school!), and of course, our annual Christmas party.

Winners of the 2024 Hard Hats with Heart Cup!

We actively participate in the American Heart Association Puget Sound’s “Hard Hats with Heart” Executive Leadership Team, which includes five general contractors and 11 trade partners across the region exploring the connections between mental wellbeing and cardiovascular health in construction.

OVer $30K raised exclusively for cancer care in 2024!

We sponsor and participate in PeaceHealth St. John Golf Classic golf tournament, with all funds benefiting the hospital.

VECA Gives Back!

We support community engagement opportunities in a variety of ways, whether fundraising, gifts in kind, volunteer hours, or sharing the important work of charitable organizations. Photo from the Camp Korey volunteer team at WSSHE.
