Avenue Bellevue
Built on a super block on one of the busiest intersections in Bellevue, this massive 1,280,000 SF project consists of two buildings: a 24-story tower featuring 224 high-end condo units and a 25-story tower with 141 ultra luxury condos and a 208-key 5-star InterContinental Hotel, along with 75,000 SF of retail and restaurant space. To maximize parking area, 206 car lifts were installed for hotel valet service, with 790 parking stalls in total.
The electrical scope included six 4000A services with a mixture of MC feeders and busway, a 2MW diesel-fueled generator, DMX lighting controls, car lifts, power monitoring with a tenant billing system, ballroom and residential AV integration, and intricate custom light fixtures.

In-house fabrication mitigated schedule delays
The smoke control panel faced delivery delays that could have significantly impacted the schedule. VECA enlisted our own panel shop to fabricate one from scratch in one month, avoiding critical path implications.
Integrated residential tenant billing system
VECA installed a complex system for power monotoring that individually tracks consumption and automates billing procedures for seamless management.

Tight urban core site with logistical challenges
Built on a super block amidst the two busiest streets in Bellevue, this project required close coordination amongst the full project team to minimize traffic and onsite storage. VECA used significant prefabrication resources and stored material offsite until it needed to be delivered to decrease congestion.
