UW's First Progressive Design-Build Delivery Project
Utilizing the best of integrated construction methods, the project team collaborated closely to complete the project on time and under budget.

The 300,000 SF Hans Rosling Center for Population Health is the heart of the University of Washington's 25-year vision to improve population health on a local and global scale. The building creates space for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation on population health, such as investigation of biomedical, social-behavioral, cultural, environmental, and physical factors, all of which affect the health of populations across the globe. Constructed within the active, occupied Seattle campus, the facility has eight stories above ground and two below, with spaces for collaborative group work, active learning, offices and training for global partners.

VECA Technologies scope included WIFI Cat6A cabling as well as fiber optics which were used to connect all systems, 1500+ Cat6A hard wire connections, and 24 conference rooms, including VIOIP capabilities. Campus tie-ins included both Emergency and cellular DAS enabled systems.
